About Harmony House
Our Story
Harmony House Senior Living was founded on the belief that older adults deserve more than just a place to live. They deserve a voice in the policies that shape their lives, access to affordable care, and the opportunity to thrive as valued members of their communities. Drawing inspiration from national leaders in aging services and advocacy, we set out to bridge the gap between excellent care and strong public policy.
Our organization grew out of a passion for service and a recognition that many seniors and caregivers struggle to navigate a complex landscape of regulations, funding and care options. Harmony House unites high‑quality living environments with a comprehensive advocacy arm. We work alongside organizations like Argentum and the National Council on Aging to promote legislation and reforms that support older adults and those who care for them.
From our headquarters in Collierville, Tennessee, our team collaborates with partners across the nation to push for better funding, stronger protections and more inclusive communities. We know that to truly uplift older adults, we must make systemic changes. That is why we invest in research, share best practices, and empower seniors and caregivers to advocate for themselves. Our community is a testament to what’s possible when compassionate care meets committed advocacy.
Mission, Vision & Values
Our mission is simple yet profound: to improve the lives of seniors and those who support them, both within our communities and beyond, through strong governance, financial oversight, exceptional experiences, advocacy and continued growth. We envision a society in which aging well is a right for all, not a privilege for a few.
- Inclusion: We welcome people of all backgrounds and strive to create diverse communities where every voice is heard.
- Innovation: We embrace new ideas to enhance quality of life and improve the way senior services are delivered.
- Advocacy: We champion policies and initiatives that expand access, ensure affordability and protect the rights of older adults.
- Integrity: We are transparent, accountable and committed to the highest ethical standards.
Leadership
Our board of directors and executive team bring decades of experience in health care, senior services, policy advocacy and community development. They work tirelessly to guide our organization toward sustainable growth and meaningful impact. Like the leaders of the National Senior Communities network, they understand that effective governance and advocacy go hand‑in‑hand.
